Colon cleansing is a process that involves destroying and washing toxins and impurities from within the digestive system and colon. Two of the most common questions I’ve heard in relation to colon cleansing is “So, what exactly I know if I need a colon cleansing?” and “How can colon cleansing help you lose weight? To respond effectively to these two questions, one must fully understand the process of digestion and the effects on the body.

I suffered from acne since the age of 12 and when I was 21 I finally found out a way of getting rid of my acne. The funny thing was I had been going to see dermatologists the eight years but nobody had told me about natural remedies all possible reasons why my acne could be caused by diet for instance. Instead they decided to give me broad-based antibiotics, drugs and other medicine that really did nothing to help my skin or my spots. Born out of frustration I took matters into my own hands and decided to do a little bit of research of my own. It was this research that finally showed me the answer and gave me away to clear my acne. In this article I’m going to give you one of the key points that I found and this one key point alone cleared the majority of my skin. After a couple of years of researching about acne I found the acne was directly related to the toxicity of your blood. That’s to say that the foods we eat, the air we breathe and the chemicals that we drink are all related to our acne. I started to experiment with different foods, trying to figure out what foods got on well with my body and what foods my body didn’t like. Having taken dairy products and sugary products out of my diet I immediately felt better and within a couple weeks experienced quite a drastic improvement in my skin. This was a sign that perhaps the dermatologists hadn’t told me everything – when I had actually asked I had been told that diet is not related to acne at all aE” but clearly for me it is.

I then spent a further two or three months trying to figure out how to further reduce the toxicity in my blood. One thing that worked greatly was to drink more water. It seems like such a small thing to do but actually it can make one hell of a difference because what you’re actually doing when you drink water is you’re flushing the toxins out from your body. What I would do is drink a pint of water when I woke up, one at lunchtime and one before bed to keep my body fully hydrated and to flush those toxins out. This alone also had a great effect on my skin and I started to realise that it’s more a matter of biology and just figuring out why your acne is caused in the first place rather than taking drugs. One last thing I did to try and improve my acne was to understand how I can improve the function of my vital organs. When I say vital organs, I mean my liver, my kidneys and my bowels because these are the three main organs that are responsible for moving toxins from my body. I thought that if I could improve these organs then I’d have a much better chance of reducing toxicity in my blood.

Some people suffering from acne will never hesitate to subscribe to over the counter treatments. But, sadly, they’re not the best cure for acne around. Not only are they expensive, but they can even aggravate your problem. Some of these treatments contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your skin. With an irritated skin, flare-ups may only get worsen. There are natural means of dealing with this skin problem. They are inexpensive, and produce no side effects as their pharmaceutical counterparts. You really don’t have to go out now just to purchase them. Some of them could be sitting in your kitchen all this time. Begin with watching what you’re putting in your mouth. Try to steer clear of fatty and greasy foods. Also, skip putting refined sugar in your favorite beverage. Focus on foods that are naturally rich in zinc and omega-3 fatty acids. Chicken, yogurt, beans and nuts are some great sources of zinc. For your omega-3 fatty acids dose, have lots of fish and oils like vegetable and flaxseed ones. Making your own facial mask from things found in the kitchen is really easy. And they’re effective too. Crack an egg, remove the yolk and beat the remaining white. Apply on your face, let stay for at least 15 minutes, then rinse with water. Oatmeal is great for exfoliating the skin and absorbing excess sebum. Cook plain oatmeal the usual way. Once thoroughly cooled, massage it onto affected skin, and let stay for some minutes before rinsing. Don’t throw away those orange peels. Place them in a blender and add some water to make a paste. Apply the paste on affected areas and let stay for some time before rinsing your face.

The official cause of psoriatic arthritis is not currently known by the medical community. It is thought that the condition is linked to a combination of genetic factors, immune system differences and environmental causes. The only forms of psoriatic arthritis that can be linked to genetics, however, are those with spinal inflammation. A gene, HLA-B27, is present in patients with psoriatic arthritis manifesting in spinal swelling. Other genetic markers have also been found but research is on-going.

Changes in the immune system are most commonly linked to the development of the condition. Patients have presented with a reduction in T cell count when HIV or AIDS is an underlying condition, but this involves a very limited number of patients. Researchers continue to investigate the connection between the immune system, health of the immune system and environmental factors and changes in conjunction with the development of psoriatic arthritis.

What is Acne breakouts?
Acne is an very complex disease with elements of pathogenesis involving defects in epidermal keratinization, androgen secretion, sebaceous function, bacterial growth, inflammation, and immunity. In the past 30 years, very much may be worked out, and we now have a relatively detailed understanding of the events that result in an cystic acne pimple, despite the fact that there is also significantly left being discovered.

Acne Treatments

The effects of hormones in acne breakouts are most notable in women. Androgens including dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and testosterone, the adrenal precursor dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), estrogen, along with other hormones, such as growth hormone or insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), may well each be important. It is likely that the hormones affecting the sebaceous gland are both taken up from the serum in addition to being made locally within the gland. Hormonal remedy is an option in women whose cystic acne is not responding to conventional treatment or if signs of endocrine abnormalities are present. The greatest therapeutic benefit from hormonal treatment is achieved in mixture with other efficient anti-acne medications. This chapter focuses around the role of hormones in pimple, the clinical presentation of adult female zits, the work-up of a suspected endocrine abnormality, as well as the obtainable options for hormonal treatment.
