There are lots of cosmetics available on the market these days. It is sometimes very difficult to decide which cream will be best for your skin. There are plenty great creams and lotions available, but there are also products that will do more harm than good. It is however very difficult, almost impossible, to know whether the particular cream or lotion is good for your skin, before actually trying it.

The reason why some creams are harmful to your skin is quite simple. All the creams and lotions consist of lots of chemicals which might cause allergic reactions.

I would therefore suggest you use natural creams and lotions. But how do you know whether the cream or lotion is 100% natural? You can never be sure unless…you prepare it yourself!

Below are two recipes for a cream and a lotion which you can prepare at home. They are 100% natural and, therefore, can’t harm your skin.

1. Honey Cold Cream for Dry Skin

You will need ¼ cup of honey, ¼ cup of vegetable shortening, 1 tablespoon of grounded almonds, 1 teaspoon of lecithin, 2 tablespoons of bee pollen, 1 egg yolk (at room temperature) and 1 teaspoon of rosewater or cologne water.
